Considered as one of the sacred lakes of this state Kecheopalri Lake remains hidden in the rich forest cover, believed that the birds do not permit even a single leaf to float on the lake surface. West Sikkim has numerous waterfalls, historical places like Yuksom and Rabdentse Ruins, soft trek routes and soothing atmosphere for all. At an altitude of nearly 6800 feet, with spectacular close up views of mount Khanchendzonga and her subordinate peaks is the major attraction of this location. Sanga Choling Monastery one of oldest monastery built in 1697 atop a dense forested hill, Singshore Bridge perhaps the highest bridge in Sikkim is something to be cherished in memory. West Sikkim is known for the grandeur of her mountain peaks, terraced hills and verdant valleys brilliant with richness of vivid flowers, birds and butterflies. Fast flowing rivers, lush tropical forest, simple tilted villages, photographing nature's diversity; meeting people, colorful monasteries are all rare and unique experience. Sikkim is home to many a movie and the specialty of Sikkim is that the population is not a hindrance and the shooting can be done with ease and without any disturbances.

Their festival held during Losar or the festivals held in the Monastery are really colorful can be incorporated and there are many options which can be used during the shoot. Ruins, waterfalls, parks and bridges, forest, beautiful lakes and quaint villages are in abundance. Some of the best and oldest monastery of the state can be found here. Ruins and stretches of terrace farming, even Temi tea garden is worth filming.
