We invite all the film makers of the regional states of India and all foreign film makers to shoot their films in north east India – a country with locations of myriad beauty. Nationals of Pakistan, Bangladesh, China and Myanmar can be given Inner Line Permits subjected to approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Bhutan nationals are exempted. Permits to foreign diplomats and members of United Nations and International Organizations holding diplomatic / official passports are issued at Delhi by the Ministry of External Affairs. Please send us a letter, telling us of your intention to shoot films, mentioning the dates of shooting, size of cast and crew members, and your selected locations. If you intend to bring your own shooting equipment, send us a list of the equipment to be temporarily imported. It will enable us to make a recommendation to the customs authorities to exempt the temporary import from customs duty.
